Scales

A scale defines the ratio of a distance on a map to the actual physical distance.

To open the Scales dashboard select the Scales button:

After selection of the Scales_button the Scales_ dashboard is displayed:

Search

In upper right of the page is the Search option:

The Search option will be selected to search for specific chart scale:

Create Scale

Selecting Create Scale launches the scale configuration interface:

In order to create a new scale input the required scale and select either Save or Cancel to cancel.

Scales main view

Browse available scales using the vertical scroll bar.

At the bottom of the page, use the horizontal arrows (← →) to page through scales. Adjust how many appear per page using the dropdown selector:

In the upper horizontal bar additional information is displayed showing the following categories and available sort by options :

The Is Standard category is used to include standard items that are provided by the system. E.g. for each kind of chart the system provides at least one standard Chart Type.

Scale Options

When selecting the ellipsis (A group of dots on a white background AI-generated content may be incorrect.) the following options are displayed:

  • Details;

  • Edit;

  • Delete.

Details

After selection of the Details button the Scales details are displayed:

Edit

After selection of the Edit button the Edit Scale page is displayed:

In order to update a scale input the required scale and select either Update or Cancel to cancel.

Delete

After selection of the Delete button the _Are you sure you want to remove this item_warning is displayed:

In order to remove a scale select Yes or No to cancel.
